A Bench in Falkland

A Spot of Quiet Reflection

This shot was taken in the picturesque Fife village of Falkland, well known for its medieval roots and it’s Royal Palace. It’s been the backdrop to many a costume drama. It’s also a tourist destination and this bench is just the place for weary travellers to take a load off.

In this ever online, ever moving modern age, taking time for yourself to connect with your immediate surroundings seems like a luxury, the type of thing people reserve for holidays and time off. The movement of practicing self-care or self-love can be seen as an indulgence that few have time for but it’s not a new thing.
Something as simple as sitting on a bench, maybe with a book or even just people watching whilst flicking through a newspaper or magazine, can create the breathing space we all crave but don’t always believe we have time for.
This print comes ready mounted so you can take it to your own framer, or I can arrange to have this done for you. Just use the contact me button with an idea of the sort of framing you’re after and I can get you a quote.
